Fannie Bay

I was planning on posting a timelapse I took last night of the tide movements and tide pools but it's not turning out the way I wanted to. Instead here is a photo from sunset at Fannie Bay with the incoming tide passing through coral structures. Only two days left in Darwin then it's off to Sydney for two days!

'Badass'

When most people think of the term 'badass' a few things usually come to mind: black sabbath, tasers, and meteor showers. Today I have found a new definition of the term 'badass': a huge salty jumping towards my camera. Please see photo for evidence. Expect an update everyday hopefully before my return. Lots of cool stuff to share!

Up, Up, and Away

Spent the day in a tiny plane doing aerial photography. As you can probably guess by the photos I was in fact the co-pilot (which was awesome). Next time the mile high club? Endless possibilities.

Fish!

So pumped on my underwater housing I decided to take it out to photograph some fish across the street. Unfortunately the conditions for underwater photos weren't in my favour because the water was so murky but I'm still pretty happy with how they came out. So excited to use this gear in the Bahamas.

Beer Can Regatta

Spent an afternoon in Darwin at the famous beer can regatta. Teams made boats out of... well, beer cans and kind of raced. It was basically full out mutiny with boats sinks and people throwing flour bombs at other boats. All in all a pretty entertaining afternoon.

Under the Sea

Just received my underwater housing and did some tests last night in the pool at my apartment. Thanks to Randy for being in the pool at the same time. Next stop- the ocean.
